Queridos alumnos,
Es
hora de despedirnos, ha pasado un curso más, aunque este año ha sido muy
diferente. He de deciros que me ha encantado trabajar con todos vosotros. Me
gustaría daros las gracias por todo lo que me habéis regalado en este curso
(risas, abrazos, dibujos, charlas) y pediros disculpas si en algún momento no
han salido las cosas como esperabais.
No se
si nos volveremos a ver el próximo curso, pero por si no nos volvemos a ver, os
quiero desear que paséis un buen verano, disfrutéis de cada momento y seáis muy

In this unit we will learn how to use the superlative.
Ya sabemos utilizar el
comparativo tanto para adjetivos cortos como largos.
En esta unidad vamos a
aprender a usar el superlativo.
Un poco de teoría.

Los adjetivos en grado superlativo
El superlativo
se emplea para describir un objeto que se encuentra en el extremo superior o
inferior de una cualidad (the tallest, the smallest, the fastest, the
highest).
Se utiliza en oraciones
en las que comparamos un sujeto con un grupo de objetos, c
Ejemplo: My house is the
biggest in Los Gallardos. My casa es la más grande de
Los Gallardos.
Adjetivos una sílaba
Add ‘-est’
for one syllable adjectives.
one syllable: small – the smallest
Add ‘ ‘-iest’
for two syllable adjectives which end in ‘y’
(and take away the ‘y’).
two syllables with ‘y’: happy – happier – the happiest
Use ‘more’ and ‘the most’ with other two syllable (or more) adjectives.
